I love Halloween, it is one of my favorite holidays! I love getting dressed up and I love looking at everybody’s costumes. It’s so fun. This year I was so busy and have had so much going on I didn’t really make plans for Halloween. I knew I’d be in Las Vegas, so I posted on twitter to see what my Las Vegans were up too. One of my old friends hit me back about the Fetish and Fantasy Ball at the Hard Rock. I have been to this party in the past…It has always been entertaining, but usually at a crappy venue and the crowd was always the fetish/swinger type. So when I heard it was at the Hard Rock I was pleasantly surprised. I got all dressed up and headed over to meet my friend.
The Ball was being held at the Joint, which I thought was a huge venue, but when I walked in I saw that not only was it packed, but there was another ballroom that was filled with vendors and had two performance stages.
There were so many people there, all different kinds, in all different types of outfits. We spoke to some of the audio/visual guys that were working the main room and they said that it sold out and it was like 6500 in attendance! So I spent most of the evening walking around looking at people and taking pictures. I saw some of the most interesting and obscure costumes. I saw Karate Kid and his Cobra antagonist, a T Bird (grease), the GoDaddy girl, a bunch of bees, and several Where’s Waldos. My friend Bevan went as a vampire and I went as an undead doll.

As you can see from the pictures I had an awesome time. It was a lot of fun. I think that next year I’m gonna have to step up my game and come up with a costume that is not only hot, but clever!
